  • Snooze timer

  • Made of MDF (medium-density fibreboard) wood

  • Size 3.7 x 3.7 x 3.7 inch, weight 0.71 lb

  • Batteries: 3 x AAA not included

For kids young and old – start your day with a smile.
Even if you aren’t a morning person, this clock will put a smile on your lips at the start of the day. The five different animal sounds and the corresponding brightly coloured magnet animals make waking up a treat. The rooster crows, the dog gives an excited bark, the pig greets the day with a cheerful oink, or the cat wakes you with a gentle miaow. And the trumpeting elephant is enough to rouse even the heaviest sleeper! These friendly voices are all nature recordings of real animals – providing loads of fun for wide-awake girls and boys.
To activate this brightly coloured children’s alarm clock, choose a magnet animal and place it on top of the clock and select the corresponding animal sound from back. The other four animals stay fast asleep in their “homes” on the sides of the cube. With a place for everything and everything in its place, the compact cube also sets a good example for a neat and tidy bedroom.
Oversleeping is a thing of the past – the “wake up happy” function features animal sounds that grow louder in three stages to wake even the biggest sleepy-head. To check the time in the middle of the night, simply press a button to light up the colourful clockface. The same button also activates the snooze function that gives you another delicious five-minute doze after the alarm goes off.
KOOKOO KidsAlarm is battery operated and available in five different colours.
Designed by Maia Ming Designs, Barcelona
Animal sounds (alarm tones): rooster – cat – dog – pig – elephant
Please note: This clock contains small parts and is not suitable for children under the age of five.

can I play any song on a 3-string guitar?

Yes. In fact, a regular chord in a standard 6-string guitar is usually comprised of no more than 3 notes. Loog Guitars allow you to play real chords and any song. It will not sound as full as if it were played with a high-end, concert guitar, but because of that same reason it provides a more approachable experience; more suitable for kids and beginners.

if I learn to play a loog guitar, can I then use those learnings to play a regular 6-string guitar?

Yes, playing a Loog is not entirely different from playing a traditional guitar, it is just simpler. Since we use the same first three strings -and tuning- of a six-string guitar, everything you learn on a Loog can later be applied on a standard guitar. The transition is natural and seamless. Likewise, you can buy books or go online to find the chords to your favorite songs, and use those same chord-tabs meant for six-string guitars to play on your Loog. You just need to pay attention to the finger-placement on the first three strings and simply ignore the other ones!

what is the minimum age recommendation for loog guitars?

We recommend the Loog Mini for children 3 and up, the Loog Pro for kids 6 and up, and the Loog Pro VI for kids 9 and up.

is the loog guitar only for kids?

Absolutely not. We designed them for kids, but even the Loog Mini is certainly suitable for just anybody who likes to play guitar. We count parents, grandparents and even pro guitarists as some of our most loyal customers.

how do you tune a loog guitar?

Quick answer: GBE, from low to high.Loog Guitars use the same first three strings -and tuning- of a six-string guitar. This is why everything you learn on a Loog can later be applied on a standard guitar. Now, Loog Guitars are all about exploration, so you can also use other string-configurations and tuning if you want to: Open A, Open G… whatever works for you.

should a beginner start with the acoustic model first and only then move to an electric loog?

Not really. In fact, some argue that it’s easier to start with an electric guitar, because the strings are closer to the fretboard and that makes them more comfortable to play. We suggest going with whatever model you like best.

brandmiffy & friends
designerdick bruna

specialtymiffy cartoon character

about miffy

Miffy was "born" in 1955. While on holiday in Egmond aan Zee, Dick Bruna would tell his eldest son, Sierk, bedtime stories about a little, white bunny, who scampered around the garden of their holiday home. This bunny became the inspiration for Miffy. Later, when Dick began sketching Miffy, he decided he would prefer to draw the bunny in a little dress, rather than a pair of trousers, and so Miffy became a little girl bunny. In the early years, Miffy looked a bit like a fluffy toy with floppy ears, but from 1963 onwards, when the books were first published in square format, she became the Miffy we know today, gazing confidently at the reader with her little, black eyes. She has two pointy ears and little chubby cheeks. In "miffy’s dream" (1979) and all subsequent stories, her ears and face are slightly rounder and more balanced. After that, her body became somewhat rounder and softer. After "miffy in the tent" (1995), her appearance remained much the same until 2001, when the proportions of her head and body changed slightly in "miffy the ghost", making her look more like toddler. And after a new baby arrived in "miffy and the new baby" (2003), she became a big sister and looked like a real little girl bunny.

about noodoll

The first Noodoll was born in the imagination of our founder, Yiying, while studying at art school in London. Inspired by the shapes of the noodles and rice of her native Taiwan, Yiying created a character called Noodoll, which started life as an illustration in a story, before leaping off the page and into plush toy form. The stories this little character inspired in Yiying’s imagination, and the joy they brought, gave her the idea to create some friends for him. She named the company in his honour, and so the Noodoll journey began.

about studio roof

‘Run through the forests, gallop through the fields. Set your imagination free and play!’
Studio ROOF started with our life as parents of three. It was observing the creative and colourful outcomes between us and our children that originated our first products. That reaffirmed our belief that imagination and playfulness are not only connected to childhood but are a key element that pervades every aspect of life, at all ages.
Our starting point is paper, a material with infinite possibilities. Through the filter of imagination, a world unfolds in our cardboard products – masks, birds, insects, cities, sea animals, earth creatures and many more. These tell stories about the beauty that lies in nature, fantasy, art and people.
Since nature plays such an important role in our story and daily lives, the products are made from recycled cardboard and coloured with plant-based vegetable inks. This is our way of contributing to the environment.
We have been working as a team for fifteen years, committed and passionate about what we do, developing pieces that open up new possibilities, with simple yet beautiful design. The response we receive from our partners and loyal customers give us the confidence to carry on, to keep making.
Let’s create together!
